Farm Commander version 1.1
After a beta period of more than a year, Farm Commander is no longer beta. Version 1.1 is out and contains many fixes and new features:
Update for Published Applications Utilty
Minor update for Published Applications Utility,
It is now possible to edit 'Access Control' for many applications at once:
-Allow connections made through Access Gateway
-Any Connection
-Any connection that meets any of the following filters
-Allow all other connections
-Farm Name
-Filter
The new version of PAU is in the FASe1.2 package.

The Antwerp Citrix IForum, which is the successor of the Citrix Solutions conference was a great success again. Despite the lack of such conference last year, many people came. This year the Golden Earring performed again. According to Citrix Benelux director of marketing Ed Bezooijen this was biggest Citrix Benelux event ever!

Capture your computer screen for demo purposes?, there are many software solutions for this, Vmware workstation ACE edition enables you to capture movies, CamStudio is a well known screen capture util. Now Citrix has come up with it's own edition: GoView. With GoView its also easy to share the outcome online!
It's still a beta, and on the site it says it's only compatible with Windows XP or Vista.

Error Running FC on XenApp 45
XenServer is going to be free!
On 23/2/2009 Citrix announced that XenServer is going to be free, even for large production environments. This seems a very logical and necessary step. Necessary because there is many free alternatives, ESXi for example. On the one hand Citrix suggest it would be without limitations. But in the same article Citrix points out that Citrix Essentials has to be bought for additional functionality.
