Hi
I'm trying out Farm Commander on a Citrix server and after adding the license I only get the message "The domain name in the license file doesn'nt match the current domain name" and then it quits.
When triyng to install again it says unable to resolve domain name under the registration form and I'm unable to add it manually.
Any suggestions?
Best regards

Hi Dennis
Thanks for your quick answer!
I get the message: "Unable to resolve a domain name!, you can only register Farm Commander on a domain"
It has no problem resolving the domain name when using ipconfig or nslookup.

Are you logged on using a domain account?, or using a local account? Also, give it a try on a other computer/server in the domain.
I was logged on as local admin, so when I switched to a domain user it worked fine.
Thanks!
Glad we could help,
Let us know how you like Farm Commander!
Hi Carl,
This is a problem many people have, you have probally registered the domain: MYDOMAIN, while you should register MYDOMAIN.LOCAL
You probally used the web to register, here is the quickest way to resolve this:
-Go to the program folder of Farm Commander (default = c:\program files\gourami\farm commander
-delete the old registration file: *.gourami, probally fase.gourami
-Make sure you have the lastest version of Farm Commander
-At startup Farm Commander states there is no license, and asks you to register. Do so from within the program, this way you are sure the right domain name is used for the license.
