The server.vss comes with Visio professional. It's a sencil containing servers. So this file should be a on a Visio professional installation CD.

I had the same problem, where do I put this file, so the program automaticly finds it?

Place it here: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Visio11\1033\, dependig on the drive letter and the location of your program files.
