The 3 color blocks on top are all yellow. What does that mean? Is there some easy way to drill down to see why they are not green?
Also, while the icon for the server is green, if I drill down into it, I see the icons for the services are red, with a "state 0". What does this mean? I know they are running.
State 0 means, the service cannot be found on that server.
It would be a good idea to have a legend on the colors, the yellow color means 'to be scanned'
You can double click on a server to see its details.....
OK... But what does it mean when the 3 blocks on top are yellow and ALL the servers are green?
the 3 upper blocks display: the datastore, the license server and the datacollector(s), so if one of these blocks are red/yellow, it means there is something wrong with either the datastore, the license server or the datacollector.
Can you maybe post a screenshot, because it clearly states what server it is....
I understand that those blocks point to each of the components, but when it's yellow, for example, how do I know what the problem is?
Yellow means, at least for the upper block, 'undetermined', or 'to be scanned', If for example you have changed the options, these blocks will reset to yellow untill the next scan occours.
Hmm... A legend would be a good idea considering that Yellow normally means Caution / small problem.
Yup, legend, good idea!, where would like to have it? And maybe it's better to have 'gray' as undetermined color, makes more sence...
Grey is good. As for the location, you could make the three blocks on top slightly smaller, and put a 4th column (not the same width... not necessary) with the legend.
Everything (including the services) just turned green.... I'm guessing it was still collecting data; however, I still want to know about drillign down to find out where the problem is if the server icon itself is green.
