This only occours when you open the context menu while you not right clicking a server.

 

This option should be greyed out then!

Now that the Toggle Maint Mode is working, I understand what you mean; however, I think the terminology may be misleading.  Basically, if you indicate that the server is ONLINE, I think you mean that it's pingable, etc, not anything to do with the Farm Monitor application itself.  I think I would change the STATUS column to MONITORED, and change the values to a simple YES or NO, or something like that.  Then, the TMM option would be changed to Toggle Monitoring Mode.  Just an idea.
