Hello,

Evaluating product and noticed that 'offline' servers are not appearing. How is Farm server membership established ?

For example a server down (Hardware fault) still a Farm member but in a 'maintenance' Load Evaluator, however the server does not appear in the listing. Farm is PS4.0 standard edition.

Thanks in advance for any feedback,

Jochen

Server farm membership is established simplely for asking to MFCOM information about all servers.

You can probally see the server in the Log file (my documents).

Then Farm Monitor tries to ping the server, if no reply, the server is droped from the list, this is by design, you cannot get server properties from offline servers...

As I understand, you rather keep that server on the list?

Hello, sorry for late reply, only just back at the customer site. Great little tool by the way and yes would like to see off-line servers on the list rather than checking the log file all the time. Would be great to have a view of all farm member servers on the list and instantly know which servers are offline. And...just a little request, could any view settings changes be saved somehow ?

Other than that, nice simple product for non enterprise farms.
