we just bought FASe licenses for migrating our farm. We have approx 1000 published application and each start and each change takes about 25 minutes to reload published applications data. Is this normal behavior?

so you have no workaroud how to make it faster when I want to add server to all published applications? :) Faster Citrix terminal server, faster connection to SQL server or it is typical behaviour?

No it your case, there is no work around.
It slow because PAU has to check everything. Again, you could seperate it in groups, but at the bottem line you've lost the same time.
Faster datastore should speed this up, but I would not expect it to go much faster. 25 minutes for 1000 applications is rather normal.

Times like that are normal for that much applications, I'd advise you to process them folder by folder.
Do you get a dialog at start up stating you can select some applications?
