For those with older version of FASe installed:
Upgrade to a FASe 1.2 installation in 5 easy steps:
1-Remove any previous installation of FASe or PAU, from the control panel, add/remove programs.
2-Check your program files folder, for a 'Gourami' folder, this folder might contain your license key. Make sure you save the license key, and delete the Gourami folder.
3-Download the lasted version of FASe from www.gourami.eu
4-Install the new FASe package, by running the installer
5-Open de FASe menu, select 'license information', and paste your license key.
Any questions?, reply on this topic!
I'm not sure I understand you completely, but:
-PAU is not going to be sold seperately
-PAU will allways be part of FASe, if you want to use PAU, you have to buy a FASe license.
If you have a PAU license for XenApp 4.0, you can use FASe for XenApp 4.0 with your old license.
If you want to use FASe for XenApp 5.0 you have to buy a new license!
If you have anny more question, let us know!
Do you still support FASE 1.0? If yes, is there an end of life date on it?
Support as in?,
We would allways recomment everyone to update to 1.2. With a FASe 1.0 license you can also use FASe 1.2.
But what do you mean with still support, what is your question
For a new purchase, would you have 1.0 for sale? Or is it just what you have on the website.
If you really must have the old version, you can just buy a license, and we will give you a link to the old version.
But I don't see the point, the new version is way better, has much more bug fixes, you can do a lot more with it, and it's at the same price...
After looking at the pricing on FASe, just ignore my posting. I'll just purchase the product and use the peices I want. Thanks.
We are currently running Citrix XenApp 5.0. We had previously used the PAU product with our 4.0 farm and have been waiting for the the updated release of PAU so that we could install it on the 5.0 farm. Will you be releasing an update for PAU (need XenApp 5.0 compatibility) or are you only packaging PAU under the FASe product? If you are releasing a new version of PAU for purchase, what is the timeline?
Thank you!
