Hi Dennis

Your PAU utility is ace... Finally someone with some foresight to
design something we all need...
I have a request - I work for a hosting company hosting citrix
solutions for multiple customers - I would like to use your utility
for each of them but would rather not register for each one - is there
any way I could get a reg code that might work for each farm - I could
donate if that would help...

Best Regards

JG

PS Thanks again for the utility!

Thanks for the compliments!

Registration per farm stays necessary, there is one thing that could make your life a bit  easyer.

The installer for PAU is not really necessary, you might as well copy PAU. You have to consider one thing: PAU looks for the registration file 'pau.gourami' in the current directory, wich is controlled using the 'start in' option in the shortcut.

In other words, you could do this. In this example you have two customars: CustA and CustB.

--A

Create two folders in on your memory stick:

PAUforCustA

PAUforCustB

--B

Copy Interop.MetaframeCOM.dll, pau.chm and PAU.exe to both of the folders

--C

Make two shortcuts to PAU.exe,

Shortcut to PAUforCustA, with 'start in' configured to 'PAUforCustA'

Shortcut to PAUforCustB, with 'start in' configured to 'PAUforCustB'

--D

Register for both farm names.

--C

Start notepad and paste the registration key for CustA. Save the file as [yourmemorystickdriveletter]\PAUforCustA\pau.gourami

Start notepad and paste the registration key for CustB. Save the file as [yourmemorystickdriveletter]\PAUforCustB\pau.gourami

Future version of PAU will enable you to select the registration file, for now this is the work around!

Kind regards,

This sound doable for most Citrix admins...

However I currently manage around thirty-forty different Citrix environments on behalf of different blue chip customers.... both here and the US...

I will just wait for the new version....

Thanks
