Why can't I select another domain before doing the initial scan?
Also, it appears that I can start the scan from the domain that I am in and select the computers I want, but if I put in the credentials to scan another domain, the scan button does not become active.

Is there a way to limit to certain OU's in the AD? We have tens of thousands of objects in the domain and it seems to make version 1.4 hang. Right now its says its searching for users and its using 385 megs of memory but no CPU cycles. It may be hung, but I am not sure.

What would work for you?, some sort of AD-users and computer style browser?
It is probally not stuck, even thou it has every symton, it might even say in the task manager 'not respondig', but it is waiting for the AD returning the rest of the LDAP query. In your case thats taking long, very long.

This seems more like a feature request.
Royal Phone Book automaticly selects the domain you are currently logged into. So if you want to fill your phone book with items from an other domain, login in that domain and do a scan.
