Gourami is selling Published Applications Utility since April this year, and has become a great success. Such a success that the Gourami team was eager to create new tools. Many of these new tools were made by customer request.

 

All these new tools are now bundled in FASe. The Gourami team has decided not to raise the price for our tooling. Our mission is to create software that really helps people along, not bare-profit. We prefer to have many people utilizing our software, than asking a few people to pay a large amount of money.

Farm monitor automatically determines all vital components in your Citrix XenApp/Presentation Server farm and monitors them for availability.
 
When starting Farm Monitor finds out these key elements of your Citrix farm:
-Datastore
-License Server
-Data Collector(s)
 
After this, Farm Monitors scans every XenApp/Presentation server in the farm. When all elements of the farm are gathered, Farm Monitor pings these servers to see if they are online/reachable.  You can also choose to monitor to see if specified services are running on the XenApp/Presentation server.  By default Farm Monitor checks the ‘imaservice’,’netlogon’ and ‘spooler’ service. Finaly Farm Monitor can send an email if an alert has been raised.

Gourami is having a birthday party; it was one year ago that version 1.0 of Published Applications Utility was presented to the public. Beta versions were available since May 2007. During this year our software was downloaded well over 7000 times, far beyond our wildest estimations. Gourami wants to thank all people in the server based computing scene who give this new product so much positive attention. Especially Douglas Brown who is personally to blame for almost half of the visits to Gourami’s website.
