XenServer is going to be free!

On 23/2/2009 Citrix announced that XenServer is going to be free, even for large production environments. This seems a very logical and necessary step. Necessary because there is many free alternatives, ESXi for example. On the one hand Citrix suggest it would be without limitations. But in the same article Citrix points out that Citrix Essentials has to be bought for additional functionality. I suggest a roundup at the beginning of April!, accourding to Citrix.com:
‘The new free Citrix XenServer release will be available for download from the Citrix website and other download portals by the end of March 2009’. I know I’m gonna have a look, and see if I can say goodbye to my ESXi server!
