The Microsoft remote desktop connection manager, is a great and free tool that lets you manage your RDP sessions, the thing I love most is the inherenting of credentials. And ofcourse, the price!
But on high resolution screens, when using DPI scaling, the session become rather small and unreadable. The solution is very simple, follow these easy steps;
- Locate the starting RDCMan.exe file with the Windows File explorer in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Remote Desktop Connection Manager
- Right-click on the .exe file, go to compatibility
- Uncheck the Override high DPI scaling behavior
Et voilà, the sessions are now reable
